When Victrex introduced the new VICTREX CT polymers family for sealing applications in cryogenic environments, they were looking for trusted processors to test the new materials.

Fluorten accepted the challenge and injection moulded the polymers into parts which then underwent performance and mechanical testing. Based on these initial tests, Fluorten manufactured VICTREX CT 100 and VICTREX CT 200 sleeves for customer applications. Tests confirmed the materials’ high performance in harsh environments and consequently validated the Fluorten injection moulding process.
