    1.   PEEK polymers are obtained by step-growth polymerization by the dialkylation of bisphenolate salts

     

    2.   PEEK is a semicrystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained to high temperatures.

     

    3.   The processing conditions used to mold PEEK can influence the crystallinity and hence the mechanical properties.

    8.   Compression molded parts are generally more crystalline, have a higher modulus and tensile strength and are harder with a lower ductility.
